Question 1

What is 7 Locals?

Accepted Answer

7 Locals is an online business directory that helps you discover and support locally owned businesses run by Christians across Canada.

Question 2

Is 7 Locals a religious website?

Accepted Answer

No. Faith is an eligibility qualifier for business owners, not the focus of the platform. 7 Locals is a business directory — you won't find sermons or devotionals here, just great local businesses.

Question 3

How do I list my business on 7 Locals?

Accepted Answer

Click "Register" to create an account, then fill out your business details. Once submitted, your listing goes through a manual verification process before appearing publicly.

Question 4

Is it free to list my business?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything on 7 Locals is free: listing your business, being found, being contacted, and managing your listing.

Question 5

What does "Verified" mean on a listing?

Accepted Answer

Every listing is manually reviewed by our team before it goes live. A Verified badge means a person confirmed the business is real, locally owned and currently trading — it is not a licence check or an endorsement of quality.

Question 6

Which regions are covered?

Accepted Answer

All 13 Canadian provinces and territories. If your business operates anywhere in Canada, you're covered.

Question 7

Can I contact a business through 7 Locals?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every listing has a "Contact Business" button that lets you send a message directly. You don't need an account to reach out.

Question 8

How are featured listings chosen?

Accepted Answer

Featured listings are selected by our team to highlight outstanding businesses. Featured status is not purchased — it's earned through quality and community trust.
